We are very excited to announce that Cornwall has been chosen to host the Armed Forces Day National Event 2023.

This event, won in an open competition against major cities around the UK, will take place in Falmouth on 23-25 June with the main day on Saturday 24th June. Please find a link for further info below:

The event will be huge, with military music, flying displays and 3 days of activities attracting a predicted 250,000 visitors to Falmouth across the weekend. The organisation is on the lookout for an army of volunteers for the day – helping with marshalling, handing out programmes, venue management and a number of other roles.
With a number of volunteers opportunities available, this could be an excellent chance for Cornish Ambassadors to get together, celebrate a fantastic event and help in the setup and carrying out of a hugely worthwhile few days for Cornwall.
